Wellbeing and Support Centre
You can be sure of a great day out when you come along to our Bradbury House Wellbeing and Support Centre. With fun activities and entertainment, lovely fresh food, good company and caring staff, a trip to the centre could be just what you need. You can also take advantage of our assisted bathing facilities, including hair washing and foot and nail care. Whether you choose to join us for a full day or a half day we are sure you will leave us with a smile on your face.

- Topical discussions

We are open between 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday and places can be tailored to meet your individual needs.
Home Care Services
Our home based care service provides assistance for people who find bathing unaided difficult. As well as helping with bathing and showering, our friendly qualified care workers will wash and dry your hair, and provide foot and nail care. We can also help other tasks like doing your shopping for you (or accompanying you), or light housework. In addition, we run a Sitting Service which allows carers of disabled, frail or elderly people to take a break or attend things like hospital or go shopping.
Our aim is to help you live independently for as long as possible, and whether you need assistance on a long or short-term basis, we can help.
Our service is registered with the Care Quality Commission is subject to their inspection and audit procedures.
Nail Cutting Services
Do you struggle to cut your toenails?
If you are unable to hold nailclippers or reach your toes, cutting your toenails is an impossible task. Age UK Darlington can provide simple fingernail and toenail cutting in the comfort of your own home.
